A couple days off and SHIKI!!!
My wife and I decided to take a couple days off and visit her parents back home in Statesville, NC. One of my favorite places to eat is a Japanese restaurant called "SHIKI." They have the most amazing shrimp sauce which I hungrily refer to as "Shiki Sauce." I was really excited about eating at Shiki but I was even more excited when I realized that they were FINALLY serving sushi. It's so unfortunate that we don't have a Shiki in Raleigh but if you're ever on 40 West and you pass through Statesville be sure to give Shiki a try.
